Walter Helfenbein (German graphic artist, specializing in bookplates, born in Dresden 1893) ex-libris of Arthur Krauss. Etching with wide margins, signed and dated both in the plate and with pencil underneath. This attractive art deco bookplate shows skyscrapers, the prow of a transatlantic liner, a boxing ring with a white and a black boxer fighting, and an artist with an easel sketching them. (sold)
