A portable folding inkwell made in Germany. Made of nickel plated brass and leather. The button on the back of it moves up and down to lock the cover flat to form the base. The lid springs open when the button is pushed and the lid screws down on top of the ink container. Marked "GEBR. M. SCH. No 5016" and "PROV. PROT. No 7383 A. D. 92" on the front. (sold)
