Chris Comins multicolour perfume bottle with a clear glass stopper. The bottle is 5,5 "tall, including the stopper, by 5 " wide. Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1954, Christopher Comins trained at Sydney University, then became an apprentice of Sam Hermann and later worked for Charlie Meaker and Neil Wilkin. Inspired by the memory of large landscapes, clear blue skies, and sunshine, Chris translates his visual memories into beautiful luminous free-blown glass vases and perfume bottles with signature dashes of color. Chris has lived and worked in the UK since 1987. His work has been exhibited extensively in Europe, Britain, Japan, and the USA. Represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum and twice awarded grants from the British Crafts Council, Comins is recognized as one of the leading makers in the art of glassmaking today.
